Our Vision

As members of Calvary Christian Reformed Church we aim to nurture loving and committed disciples of Christ by being “devoted to teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer”.

(Acts 2:42)

We are realizing our vision by:

Endeavoring to grow, through passionate spirituality, a life of faith and a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ

Striving to make our worship services an inspiring experience for those attending

Nurturing loving relationships with all members of the congregation

Helping members to identify their gifts and be integrated into appropriate ministries

Cultivating holistic small groups that enable group members learn to serve each other as well as the Lord

Embracing functional structures that promote an ongoing multiplication of the ministry

Seeking leaders who empower other Christians for service

Focusing evangelistic efforts on the questions and needs of those not in a relationship with Christ

Our Beliefs

What is a CRC church?

CRC means our church is part of the Christian Reformed Church of North America (CRCNA)

We call ourselves Christian because we are followers of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He is the center of human history. We are Reformed because we grow on a branch of the church tree that emerged from the Protestant Reformation in sixteenth-century Europe. We are a Church as we believe God has called us together to be a people who belong to Him and live for Him. North America tells you where we are situated; but it also tells you we’re connected with other Reformed denominations in other places around the globe.

Our Emblem

Our emblem is the cross in a triangle.

The triangle represents the Trinity - our belief in the one God we know as three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The cross symbolizes Jesus Christ's sacrificial death for our salvation.
